The western-themed New Frontier is a well-established casino hotel located halfway between downtown Las Vegas to the north and The Strip's southern end.

Convenient for the Sands Expo and the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Las Vegas hotel sits next to the Fashion Show Mall and across from the new Wynn Resort.

The New Frontier features a 65,000 square-foot casino with various table games, video poker, keno, bingo, abundant slots, and a race and sports book.
The New Frontier is also home to Gilley's, one of the most popular country and western nightclubs in town. The offshoot of the Texas saloon made famous by the movie "Urban Cowboy" draws big crowds for barbecue, mechanical-bull riding, and line dancing. On Thursdays, Gilley's offers line-dancing lessons.

Guestrooms feature a simple decor, but are very spacious and comfortable. The rooms on the lower level surround the swimming pool and feature a poolside patio. The Atrium suites are large, two-room affairs with furnished living areas, wet bars with refrigerators and tables for four - perfect for entertaining friends.

The New Frontier has nine, modestly priced restaurants, including Phil's Angus Steakhouse, which dishes up steaks, chicken, seafood and pasta. Margarita's, the colorful cantina, serves Mexican specialties and fresh tortillas. Guests can enjoy the "Sinner Buffet" at the Orchard Café and Buffet. When not dining, guests can enjoy a spacious pool area, which also features a whirlpool spa.

So, if guests want to "live large" without paying a lot, the New Frontier will be their best bet, a great choice that holds its own against the other Strip hotels. And the bikini bull-riding at Gilley's on Friday nights is a sight.
